The Communications Specialist is a key member of the Marketing Creative Services department and is responsible for the creation and management of content for electronic and printed materials for a variety of marketing communication needs. Reporting to the Creative Services Supervisor, the Communications Specialist works with a team of Marketing Associates in execution of written marketing communications, which requires conducting interviews, researching the subject matter or rewriting existing copy for another medium.
He or she also acts as editor and production coordinator for one or more of the organization’s print magazines. The Communications Specialist requires marketing skills to create copy for print magazines, newsletters, brochures, advertisements, catalogs, direct mail pieces, the Web or other collateral materials. The Communications Specialist also works closely with graphic designers and photographers. Other duties as assigned.
