Registration is now open for Writers & Editors / One-on-One, the premiere freelance writers' conference that brings together 65 experienced freelance writers with eight national publication and new media editors for a weekend of dialogue, deep dish and one-on-one pitch sessions. Post-conference surveys consistently show the conference is a profitable weekend. In the first nine months after the 2009 conference -- despite a down economy -- editors made nearly $65,000 in assignments to our attendees. This year's attending editors represent AARP THE MAGAZINE, AFAR, EATING WELL, GLAMOUR, HEMISPHERES, MILLER-McCUNE, SHAPE and WEBMD.com.
