The National Center for Media Engagement, which supports public television and radio stations around the country in their community engagement work, seeks an experienced communications professional for the position of Communications Director. As a senior member of the NCME team, the Communications Director develops, implements and continuously evaluates NCME’s strategic communications plan. He or she oversees NCME content across distribution vehicles, including the NCME website and the NCME Peer Network, and serves as lead writer and editor for all content. In addition, this person plays a role in identifying and incorporating models of engagement for NCME’s community engagement curriculum. Reports to the Executive Director of NCME.
NCME is funded by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and is part of the University of Wisconsin-Extension's Department of Broadcasting and Media Innovations.
